Motorbike Rider Hospitalised after Accident in North Yorkshire

A motorcycle rider has been hospitalised after a crash in North Yorkshire this week.

The accident happened on the A170 at Sinnington at 3:17pm next to the junction with Cross Lane.

Emergency services were quick to the scene and remained there for most of the day while they gathered information about the cause of the incident.

A spokesperson for the North Yorkshire Police confirmed to press that the crash was between a black motorbike and a Vauxhall Signum vehicle.

She also revealed that reports from the ambulance service said that the rider didn't suffer any life-threatening injuries.

Police are now continuing their investigation in to the cause of the accident.
