A man has suffered serious injuries after a crash in a motocross event in Exmoor this weekend.
The rider fractured multiple bones and was airlifted to Derriford hospital in Plymouth following the incident.
It is understood that the rider was thrown from his motorbike into a woodland after a crash during one of the races at the event.

A male motorbike rider has sustained serious leg injuries after a collision with a car in Barnstable on Saturday.
Traffic was forced to a stand-still following the collision between an AJS motorbike and a silver Peugeot 207 just after midday.
The 40-year-old was treated for serious leg injuries at the scene before being taken to North Devon District Hospital by ambulance crews.

A 56-year-old man from Cumbria is in a serious condition in hospital after a motorbike accident on a road linking the M6 to north Cumbria.
The accident victim was riding a Harley Davidson motorbike when he was involved in a smash with a Honda CR-V.
The driver of the car was uninjured in the accident, however the rider is still described as being in a 'critical condition' by medical experts.

A motorbike rider has escaped serious injury after a collision involving a lorry in Witney, Oxford.
The accident happened around 1pm on Station Lane and police were forced to close the road while emergency services helped the victims of the accident.
