Devon Gym Forced to pay Compensation to Accident Victim

A gym based in North Devon has been forced to pay a member compensation after an accident involving an exercise bike. 

Charlotte Brown became victim of the sports accident while she was taking part in a 'spinning' session at Fitness Factory. 

The pedal on the exercise bike failed, flinging her across the room and leaving her with a broken finger. 

Despite the injury being relatively minor, the accident effected her performance at work and her social life until it fully recovered.

Although the final settlement figure has not been revealed it is anticipated that it is only small due to the nature of the injury.
