Man Survives Serious Head Injury Following Nailgun Incident

A man is recovering in hospital having survived a serious head injury that happened when he was completing DIY work.

The 34-year-old was seriously injured when his nail gun recoiled near his head, sending a nail in to his skull, however he did not notice until the next day when he started to feel nauseous.

Doctors say that he was lucky the 3-inch stopped just millimeters away from the area of the brain that controls movement.

"He feels good. He moved all his limbs, he’s talking normal, he remembers everything," she said. "It’s amazing, a miracle," a Doctor said.

The worker said he thought the nail had rushed passed his head but it had actually penetrated his skull and joked with press exclaiming, "I’m one of those medical miracles"
