Bar attack leaves man with facial injury

A 25 year old man was left bleeding and needing medical attention following an incident in a Chester bar.

The assault took place in the early hours and involved the man being a victim of an unprovoked attack whilst he was waiting to be served at a bar.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward due to the nature of the attack which left the man needing several stitches. The Officers from Chester Inner Neighbourhood Policing Unit (NPU) have released a description of the attacker, who is described as white, in his late 20s, 5ft 9in-6ft tall and bald.  He was wearing a white shirt, with a black jacket and black trousers.

According to the police report the offender was thrown out of the bar following the attack.

A police spokesperson said;

“I would be interested in anyone who was in the bar at that time who would contact me to tell what they saw of the incident,”

“The victim suffered a facial injury, subsequently requiring a number of stitches in his face.”

Criminal injury compensation specialists have already suggested that the attack victims could be entitled to a payout for the incident, if substantial evidence could be obtained.
