Fleet drivers urged to complete courses to help reduce road accidents

Fleet drivers are being encouraged to take road safety courses to help reduce the chances of a road traffic accident this winter.

Accidents are expected to soar in the next few months as darker nights and less-favorable driving conditions set in.

Marcus Noble, head of RAC risk management said: “Every year we hear stories of drivers being caught out by bad weather conditions and road traffic accident figures go up during the winter months.

“But good preparation and increased awareness can reduce the likelihood of a road accident considerably.”

Experts are also encouraging all other drivers to take more care on the roads, especially to and from work.
