Motorcyclist injured after collision on bridge

Three police cars, an ambulance and police van responded to an accident after there was a collision between a motorbike and a vehicle.

The accident happened in the early evening at around 8.40pm when emergency services were called to the accident scene. The accident happened near a busy junction of an artery road and caused considerable delays.

It is not known at this stage how serious the motorcyclists or the drivers injuries are but the bike rider was taken to hospital via ambulance for further treatment.
