Pedestrian hospitalised after being hit by motorbike

A woman has been seriously injured after being hit by a motorbike during rush hour. The accident happened at around 9.50am when emergency services responded to reports of a collision.

The pedestrian received medical attention from paramedics at the road side and was then taken to Hospital by ambulance with a serious head injury.

The motorcyclist was not seriously hurt.

Police closed the road whilst crash investigators assessed the scene.
