Police Called to Rugby Club to Stop Fight

Police in Wales were this week called to a Rugby Club to stop a large scale fight which had broken out in the early hours of Sunday.

Officers arrived at the scene to see a variety of criminal injuries including a woman who had been glassed in the face by a man and suffered substantial injuries.

“The young woman was taken to Morriston Hospital to obtain specialist treatment for her injuries,” said a spokesperson for the Police.

“The incident resulted in a number of people intervening which then escalated into a large scale fight. Two police cars were damaged during the disorder.”

The suspect of the glassing was also administered to hospital but was quickly released suffering only minor injuries. He was then arrested.

A third man was also arrested after damaging a Police vehicle at the scene.
