Pub assault leaves 2 men traumatised

Sadly, violence in public houses and clubs is becoming increasingly common. Where large amounts of alcohol is consumed and large numbers of people socialise, the chances of an assault taking place can be high.

A man was punched in face and a staff member assaulted in a country pub without any provocation. A 30 year old local man was arrested following the attack and his victims had to be assessed by paramedics for potential head trauma and broken noses.

Whilst no-one was seriously hurt the member of staff and customer both had to take time off work to recover to allow for bruising to go down and to get over the stress and shock of the incident.

Assaults like these should not be accepted as the norm.
