Redhill Car Accident injures Teenage Pedestrain

A teenage girl is in hospital in London with serious head injuries after a car accident involving a driver in her 70s.

The incident happened in Gatton Park Road, Redhill on Monday 17th September at the junction with Monson Road. 

The girl, who was a pedestrian at the time, was taken by ambulance to the Royal London Hospital at Whitechapel to be treated for her injuries.

The driver of the Honda Civic car was uninjured in the accident. 

The road was temporarily closed by Surrey Police as they carried out an investigation in to the cause of the accident. 

They are now asking anyone with information to come forward and help them with their investigation.
